We close Creator Day with a live show.
Last year we wanted to see if we could actually pull off a proper live recording, you can see what I mean here.
It worked. So we’re doing it again.
Indie Business Club will close Creator Day ’26 and then we all head home saying, “see you next year.”
The show is with Mel Barfield, Lea Turner and Dave Harland, big names at the LinkedIn dance.
If you’re getting a train, we’ll wrap up around 12.30pm, so you can plan your journey home for lunchtime.
This is the bonus of Creator Day, it’s not paying for one day and that’s it. There’s lots happening across the week and I want you to get as much from Poole as you possibly can.
For me, the end of the week turns into a bit of an endurance test… but Friday starts with the beach at 7.30am, then we head into the live recording.
I’m also trying to sort a sauna for the beach… I’ll come back to you on that.
What I want to prove with Creator Day is that we can bring creative initiatives from all over the country and actually join in with each other. It’s about support, friendship and for a moment in time we get to taste so much more than the main occasion.
When you come to my home, it becomes our home.
We’re going to have an amazing time together. I promise you’ll head back feeling topped up, with a spring in your step.
BOOK INDIE BUSINESS CLUB HERE. WE CAN FIT AROUND 20 PEOPLE INTO THE STUDIO.
#1 Good To See You Is On Wednesday
Good To See You, is Wed11th Feb at 12.30pm GMT on Zoom.
30 minutes to meet people who are coming to Creator Day. Book into you calendar here.
It's our way to have a break in the day and make intros.
I can answer any questions you may have as well.
#2 Make Your Podcast At Cday
On Wednesday 13th May, we're going to open 3 slots to anyone who has a podcast, or wants to create their pilot show.
There are so many talented people in the one space, why can't we make the most of being in the same town?
We have the studio for you and you'll leave with an MP3. Reply to this email and let me know this sounds of interest to you.
#3 Where Is Everything Located?
When you are in Poole, the last thing I want you to do is spend extra on travel and taxis. A lot of activity will be at FOUNDRY, Poole (in the shopping centre), the Lighthouse (the theatre) and we're also going to have networking with our friends TBN.
Our after party will be on Poole Quay.
The plan is make sure the town welcomes you, you don't need to look for transport to take you around the county. It's all central and you are in the middle!
#4 Lunch Clubs Started This Week
It's good to have Lunch Club back for '26. When we come together in our YATM space, we don’t want proof, we want heart.
I spend a lot of time thinking how we make the experience something that you feel attached to. You can read these thoughts that I posted yesterday. Love to know what you think.
It would be fantastic to see you.
